ᚱᚢᚾᛁᚲ ᚠᛁᛏᚨ
A slender crystal vial, about the size of a finger, is capped with copper filigree. The glass is pale blue and etched along its body with a continuous band of Elder Futhark runes, each rune linked by a thread of gold. The liquid inside shifts from emerald to sapphire as it swirls, and a soft inner glow pulses with each heartbeat. The stopper bears a sigil of life—a stylized heart entwined with a celestial vine—that seems to breathe with the potion's vitality.
Lore
The Runic Vitae Elixir was forged by the Moonveil Conclave, a circle of healers who bound a fragment of celestial life into a single vial. Its runes are carved with star-forged copper, and when the liquid breathes, it whispers of renewal and mercy. The elixir is said to bloom in the hands of a true healer, answering the call of desperate lives with a radiant, curative warmth.
History
Only three vials were ever made. The first saved a besieged city by reviving its fallen general at the moment the breach widened; the second vanished into the depths of a dragon-ruled ruin; the third disappeared after a daring heist by a cunning lich who sought immortality through healing rather than destruction. The remaining vial is believed to wander under the protection of a secretive order of clerics who pledge to guard life’s flame wherever it may flee.
