Necklace of the Gnashing Teeth
A black cord holds a row of teeth from various beasts, each tooth set in a cold, iron clasp. The teeth are different sizes, some chipped and worn smooth by time, others razor-sharp and gleaming. When worn, a subtle warmth travels along the jawline, and a faint, living hum seems to echo from the teeth as if they remember every bite ever taken.
Lore
Forged by a marauding chieftain whose name has been forgotten, the Necklace of the Gnashing Teeth was made from the teeth of his fallen foes. It was said that the necklace fed on battle-frenzy, awakening the wearer's raw primal strength the moment they clamped their teeth on an opponent. Many who wore it found their fights shorter but far more brutal, their strength blooming only while they bit.
History
The necklace changed hands through skirmishes and ruthless trades. A renowned berserker wore it during the siege of a mountain citadel, biting through shield walls and saving his comrades from a rout. After his death, the necklace vanished for decades, only to reappear whenever a desperate fighter sought to bite down on fear and draw out their inner might.
