Lore

Forged in a monastery forge by a smith who sought the blessing of Saint Benedict, the sword carries the saint's protection. The Medal in the pommel is said to hold the saint's blessing, resonating with the faith of its bearer and the purity of their intentions.

History

The blade vanished from a sacred armory during a siege and resurfaced centuries later in a ruin where a champion of the good claimed it once more. It has since passed through the hands of guardians who safeguard the weak and mete out mercy tempered by steel.
