Appearance

A tall humanoid figure clad in a hollow suit of honey-gold plate armor. The armor seems formed from a living hive; the surface bears beeswax patina and tiny bees drift within the joints. The helmet resembles a bee’s face, with buzzing emanating from the vents as the wearer animates the suit. Inside the armor, a swirling swarm of bees shifts and streams, giving the illusion of movement even when still. When it moves, the bees compress into a muscular silhouette, and the drone rises into a disciplined, metallic-styled patrol. The scent of honey and wax clings to the air, and the Knight moves with the quiet, purposeful precision of a hive guard.

Behavior & Origins

The Beebound Knight is a guardian forged from a dying hive’s memory and a suit of enchanted armor. A former champion who protected a sacred apiary, his spirit merged with a hollow plate that allowed the bees to survive inside and shape the wearer’s movements. The bees act as crew and muscle, coordinating strikes with chilling efficiency. Now the Knight patrols the path to the ruins where the apiary once stood, defending it with two stinging strikes and a crushing blow, while the swarm occasionally shifts to sting intruders or fill the air with a buzzing shield of distraction.
