Actions

Multiattack. The dragon makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10+8) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d6+8) slashing damage.

Breath Weapon (Recharge 5-6). The dragon exhales a cloud of corrupted shadows in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw, taking 84 (24d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Tail Attack. Melee weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d8+8) bludgeoning damage. If the target is Medium or smaller, it must succeed on a DC 21 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Legendary Actions

Appearance

A massive dragon with scales that shimmer like midnight and a menacing shadowy aura that seems to absorb light. Its eyes glow with an eerie green light, and dark tendrils of shadow swirl around it.

Behavior & Origins

Once a majestic dragon of light, the Corrupted Shadow Dragon fell to darkness through exposure to twisted magic and tainted artifacts. Now, it roams the land, spreading fear and corruption, often found in the darkest forests or atop jagged peaks.
