A shambling corpse wreathed in pale blue ice crystals clings to tattered robes. Its wounds ooze frost rather than blood, and every breath leaves a visible puff of frozen mist. Its eyes glow with a dull, icy light, and the air around it crackles with a biting chill.
Behavior & Origins
Icebound Zombies haunt the ruins of ancient frost-worshipping temples and the halls of long-forgotten ice kingdoms. They shamble after intruders who disturb their frozen stasis, driven by a stubborn hunger and a need to reclaim bodies from which the life has long since escaped. They shun warmth, and even light snowfall seems to embolden their brittle rage. In battle, they advance with slow, inexorable purpose, their icy touch numbing flesh and draining will as they seek to freeze opponents solid from the inside out.
