Lore & Description
Appearance
A wolf of rain-soft fur with a crown of dozens of eyes sewn across its head, neck, and spine. Each eye gleams with its own color, and each seems to peer into a subtly different tomorrow. The eyes flicker with precognition, allowing the wolf to anticipate and manipulate a hunter's moves before they even decide. Its fangs glitter with a pale, spectral light, and its gait is unnervingly smooth, as if it stalks multiple possible futures and chooses the most unsettling outcome.
Behavior & Origins
In the shadow-dappled depths of ancient forests, the Harrowwolf prowls. Its many eyes do more than seeโtheir glances weave glimpses of possible futures, each one slightly different from the last. Travelers who lock eyes with the creature find themselves haunted by a dozen near-misses and near-wounds, as if fate itself keeps shifting under their feet. Some say the Harrowwolf is the leftover guardian of a pact among fiends and druids that went awry, while others insist it is a curse laid by a shaman who dared glimpse tomorrow and paid in blood. Whatever its origin, the Harrowwolf hunts with ghostly precision, striking where a dozen futures dance just out of reach.
