Lore & Description
Appearance
A shifting figure of crimson dust and glassy sand, standing about as tall as a man and wrapped in veined red sand. Its form flickers with heat mirage; eyes glow like hot coals. When it moves, it leaves behind a faint red spray and a trail of tiny glassy grains. It speaks with a sibilant hiss, promising thirst and ruin to those who drink from its sands.
Behavior & Origins
In the heart of arid wastes where caravans perish to thirst, the Bloodsand Wraith feeds on spilled lifeblood. It gathers red dust from blood, crystallizes it, and births new deserts by turning lifeblood into sand. It hunts wanderers, luring them with crimson mirages and trapping them in hourglass dunes. Legends say its thirst can never be quenched, for every fallen traveler reshapes the dunes into a newer, harsher desert.
