Lore & Description
Appearance
A brutal war hound stitched together from multiple breeds: bulldog’s broad chest and powerful neck, greyhound’s lean limbs, bloodhound’s sagging jowls and keen nose, and mastiff’s bulk. Its fur is a patchwork of mismatched colors, with crude seams and sutures visible along its sides where the fabric of its body has been stitched together. Its eyes glow amber, and its gaze is old and calculating. It moves with a jerky, relentless gait that somehow feels both canine and uncanny, as if parts of different breeds tug in different directions. When it attacks, it snorts and bays—a chorus of barks from its varied lineage—before lunging forward with brutal efficiency.
Behavior & Origins
Created in a war kennel by a master of cruel experiments who sought to fuse speed, strength, scent, and stubborn tenacity into a single unstoppable hound. Bound to its maker by hidden enchantments and stitched by restless hands, the Patchwork Warhound hunts with a brutal efficiency born of disparate traits. It may maraud on its own or alongside others of its kind, using pack tactics to overwhelm foes. Its unpredictable blend of abilities makes it dangerous and terrifying to anyone who travels through the forests and ruins where it roams.
