Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the creature fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Keen Senses. The creature has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, hearing, or smell.
Spell Erasure. Whenever a spell is cast within 60 feet, the Null Weaver can attempt to erase that spell from existence. The caster must succeed on a DC 15 Intelligence (Arcana) check; on a failed check, one spell slot of the cast spell’s level (or lower) is suppressed for 24 hours for the caster, preventing that spell from being cast again during that period.

Actions

Multiattack. The Null Weaver makes two Null Touch attacks.
Null Touch. Melee weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6+4) necrotic damage. A chilling strike that siphons vitality.
Gloom Breath (Recharge 5-6). The Null Weaver exhales a 30-foot cone of gloom. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 42 (12d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Legendary Actions

The Null Weaver can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The creature regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Tail Attack. The creature makes a tail attack.
Erasure Burst (Costs 3 Actions). The Null Weaver targets a spellcaster it can see within 60 feet. The target must make a DC 15 Intelligence saving throw or lose one spell slot of 3rd level or lower for the next 24 hours.

Lore & Description

Appearance

The Null Weaver appears as a shifting silhouette of inky darkness, its form rippling like a flag of negation. Sigils glow faintly along its skin, pale runes that drain color from the air around it. Its eyes are voids that swallow light, and it moves with a hushed, patient precision that makes every spellcaster uneasy. When it speaks, the air seems to waver, as if the fabric of magic itself is listening—and waiting for permission to exist.

Behavior & Origins

A scholar who sought to map the Weaver of Magic mistook a thread of reality for a pathway. When that thread snapped, the scholar became a conduit for erasure—the ability to unmake spells before they can take root. The Null Weaver travels the world seeking other sharp edges of the weave to swallow, convinced that by erasing spells from existence it will bring about a form of absolute order where magic cannot surprise or betray.
